Meet Naima-Ra gianquinto

Founder of Align Family Organization | Financial Literacy Advocate | Mother | Community Leader | Founder of Designs By NaimaRa | Woman of Faith

Naima-Ra Gianquinto did not arrive at this work from the outside looking in. She arrived from the middle of it, a single mother, stretched thin, spiritually hungry, and determined to find a better way forward for her family.

There was a season in her life when faith, finances, and family felt impossible to hold at the same time. She was living paycheck to paycheck, doing her best, and still coming up short. Then something shifted. Sitting in church one morning, she stopped managing the noise long enough to hear something different. What followed was not a quick fix. It was a complete reorientation. She began to pray more intentionally, save with discipline, and educate herself with the same energy she had been spending on surviving. That turning point became the foundation for everything Align Family Organization would eventually become.

In 2015, Naima-Ra founded Align Family Organization with a clear and personal mandate: help families stop operating in survival mode and start building with intention. The organization's flagship framework, the 555 Method, gives families a practical and faith-grounded system for making progress in just fifteen minutes a day across four pillars: Faith, Future, Finances, and Family. It is not theory. It is a lived practice that she developed, tested, and refined through her own family first.

Recently, Align Family expanded into the elite youth athletics space with focused resources for parents navigating the AAU travel season and the D1 college recruiting process. This was not a pivot. It was a natural extension of her lived experience. As the mother of a daughter currently being actively recruited by Division I programs, Naima-Ra has firsthand knowledge of the financial weight families carry through this journey, tens of thousands of dollars in club fees, travel, training, recruiting camps, and exposure events, often with no financial framework to sustain it. Align Family now offers budgeting tools, athlete preparation systems, and financial planning resources built specifically for this community.

Her approach is the same whether she is working with a family just starting to budget or a parent whose child is one recruiting cycle away from a division offer. She meets people where they are, gives them something real to work with, and walks alongside them as they build.

Professionally, Naima-Ra has spent years working within the financial services industry at a senior level, developing expertise in enterprise architecture, business analysis, and complex systems thinking. That corporate foundation sharpened her ability to see the bigger picture while designing tools that work in real households, not just in cooperate. She brings that same strategic clarity to her community work, translating complicated financial concepts into accessible, actionable steps that families can actually use.

She is a mother of three daughters, and everything she builds is ultimately built for them and for the families who remind her of where she once stood.

Legacy and Family Background

Naima-Ra comes from a family that understood the relationship between faith, discipline, and lasting impact long before she put words to it herself.

She is the daughter of pianist and composer Alberto Gianquinto and Bonnie Warren Gianquinto. Her father's musical career placed him alongside some of the most significant artists of his generation. Alberto Gianquinto collaborated with Carlos Santana and co-wrote the instrumental "Incident at Neshabur," which appeared on Santana's landmark 1970 album Abraxas and to which he also contributed piano. That album went on to become one of the most celebrated records in music history.

Her mother, Bonnie Warren Gianquinto, was a woman of deep and rooted faith. She was what many would call a true church baby, someone who grew up inside the walls of the church and never left. Faith was not something Bonnie practiced occasionally. It was the foundation her entire life was built on. That conviction ran in the family. The Warren family has a legacy of literally building churches within their communities, establishing places of worship that became anchors for the people around them. Alongside that spiritual legacy came a multigenerational tradition of higher education and entrepreneurship. Bonnie came from a family that valued knowledge and understood that building something of your own was not optional. It was expected. Both threads, the academic and the entrepreneurial, ran side by side through generations and were passed down with intention.

Naima-Ra is the product of all of it. The musical discipline of her father. The unwavering faith of her mother. The church-building legacy of the Warren family. The generational commitment to education and enterprise. When she founded Align Family Organization, she was not starting something new from scratch. She was continuing something that had already been in motion for generations. The frameworks she builds for families, the financial tools she creates for student-athlete parents, and the faith-centered community she is cultivating are all expressions of an inheritance she takes seriously.

The discipline looks different. The spirit is exactly the same.

Community Impact and Media Appearances

Naima-Ra is an active presence in both the Columbia, Missouri community and across the Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas area, where she serves families through workshops, partnerships, and direct financial education programming. Align Family Organization partners with community organizations, faith institutions, youth programs, and networks to deliver budgeting education, athlete financial planning, and family stewardship resources to households that need them most.

Her expanded focus on elite youth athletics has positioned Align Family as a trusted resource within the student-athlete community, giving parents the financial language and planning tools to advocate for their children at every stage of the recruiting and development process.

She has been featured at local churches (Urban Empowerment, One Community), youth organizations (My Beauty Organization, The Tribe Gathering, Heels Proverb 31 Organization, God’s Natural Pearls), and on the DuoDivas Podcast, where she spoke openly about her personal financial journey, the founding of Align Family Organization, and her vision for helping families build generational wealth through faith-centered practices. The conversation can be viewed at: Watch the Interview

Naima-Ra is available for speaking engagements, community workshops, podcast interviews, and organizational partnerships. Her message connects with faith-based audiences, parents of student-athletes at every level, community leaders, and anyone committed to building something meaningful for the next generation.

Every family has a story still being written. Naima-Ra Gianquinto built Align Family Organization for the parents who are ready to change the ending of theirs. Whether you are trying to get out of debt, budget for your child's next athletic season, prepare for the college recruiting process, build a financial foundation that can hold the weight of your family's dreams, or simply create a home where faith and finances are no longer in conflict, this is the place to start. The work is real. The tools are practical. And the mission, at its core, is simple: aligned families build stronger futures, and stronger futures start here.
